Ava DuVernay and Autumn Riley

Ava DuVernay was born on the 24th of August 1972 at Long Beach California. DuVernay received support from her Aunt Denise when she was a little girl. Aunt Denise worked as a nurse who stayed overnight in order to provide her with an opportunity to study theatre or literature. DuVernay was exposed to the movie of 1961 West Side Story by her aunt. DuVernay learnt by doing that art is a great vehicle for political activism. DuVernay was educated by her mother with a conscience for social issues, and instilled DuVernay to express herself through art. DuVernay was raised in Compton by her parents, however, she spent her summers in Lowndes County Alabama. This is where DuVernay's father's family has been for generations. Her father was awed by the Civil Rights movement's historic march across the Edmund Pettus Bridge, in the nearby town of Selma Alabama. DuVernay was strongly influenced by her summers in Selma, and later directed the documentary of King's father, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. In the year 1990, DuVernay graduated from Saint Joseph High School in Lakewood California. In 1990, she completed her studies at the Saint Joseph High School located in Lakewood California. DuVernay discovered a passion for the field of broadcast journalism while a student. Her first job was as an assistant for CBS News in the O.J. Simpson Trial. DuVernay remembers being assigned to watch the home of one member of the jury as well as examine their junk. The duties she was required to perform left her dissatisfied and, following her decision not to pursue a career in journalism, she shifted into the industry of publicity. DuVernay was offered a job straight out college, as a new publicist at a studio. She founded The DuVernay Agency, her company for public relations in 1999. In addition to PR her agency also launched several social media and lifestyle networks, including the Urban Beauty Collective, Urban Thought Collective, Urban Eye and HelloBeautiful. Autumn Riley.............................Autumn Riley was born in Los Angeles United States. Autumn Riley is born with the birth astrological sign. Her name is associated with a well-known actress that has been in American Experience (1987), A More Perfect Union (2009), and other films.
